## What does «Independence» govern?

Commissions are agreed before a test begins and enter no part of the weighted calculation that produces a score. No provider pays for placement, sees a draft, or is asked for comment before publication. The weights are published on the methodology page precisely so that the order on a page can be checked against them by anyone who cares to.

## What does «Sourcing» govern?

Every figure is read from the provider's own pages or from our own test account, and carries the date it was read. Where a provider states nothing, the table says not stated; we do not fill gaps with inference. Legal statements cite the text of the instrument and link the official source. Where the wording does not settle a question, we say so rather than choosing the

convenient reading.

## What does «Corrections» govern?

Errors are corrected on the page and dated. A correction that changes a score changes the ranking with it, and we do not quietly re-order. Readers who report errors are the main reason the tables stay accurate between retests.

## What does «What we refuse» govern?

Anything involving minors, in any framing. Tests on images of identifiable real people. Coverage of services whose own marketing promotes use without consent. Paid placement, in any form, including the versions that arrive described as something else.

## What does «Questions readers send us» govern?

Do commissions affect scores?

## Do commissions affect scores?

No. They are agreed before testing and excluded from the calculation, which is published in full. Do providers see drafts?

## Do providers see drafts?

No, and they are not asked for comment before publication. How are corrections handled?

## What does Canadian law say?

Regardless of the tool, the same prohibition applies to intimate imagery:

> «Publishing, distributing, making available or advertising an intimate image of a person without their consent is an offence.»
